Azam Khan’s name considered for T’20 series against South Africa

After the losing the test and t20 series against new zealand now changes in management & players are expected by Pakistan Cricket Board. Now team management want to give a chance aggressive batsmen Azam Khan to play against south africa T’20 series. The right handed batsman scored 645 runs so far in 31 Twenty 20 with a strike rate of 159.65. Azam khan hit 57 fours and 41 sixes and have ability to play in middle order.

Azam Khan is likely to be included in the national team for the home series against South Africa. According to our sources team management decide to include some players that have good strike rate. Pkaistan team lack of an aggressive players that’s way the selection committee considered the name of Azam Khan, son of former captain Moin Khan, for the T20 series against South Africa. Azam Khan is part of the PSL franchise Quetta Gladiators as well as recently, he has represented the Gladiators team in the Lanka Premier League. Although Azam Khan not have good average just 25.10 in 31 Twenty 20 matches but have very good strike rate of 150.33. Azam Kan has scored 644 runs & scored four fifties. He has hit 57 fours and 41 sixes so far and given his ability to bat aggressively. The selection committee and Muhammad Wasim Is considering to give opportunity for the T20 series against South Africa.

PCB has also willing to include to Sharjeel Khan in a Pakistan team and give a second chance in international cricket after the match fixing scandal. Sharjeel Khan could get a chance in the home series against South Africa. Aggressive left handed batsmen not play international match for last three years. In addition, the Pakistan team management has decided to give a chance to fast bowler Hassan Ali. Hassan Ali recover from injury and available for national team squad. Test opener Imam-ul-Haq and Karachi middle-order batsman Saud Shakeel alson named in the home Test series against South Africa schedule very next month.

Hassan Ali, 26, has been unfit since the 2019 World Cup when Imam-ul-Haq suffered a fractured thumb during practice in New Zealand. Zafar Gohar endured 159 runs in his debut Test but could not take any wicket. Senior middle-order batsman Asad Shafiq is unlikely to return for the Test series against South Africa.
